The major sporting events in this city could not happen without the support of Atlanta's volunteers and their southern hospitality. Thousands of Atlantans have devoted time and energy to contribute to the success of events like the NBA All-Star game and the Men's and Women's Final Four. The dedication and enthusiasm exhibited by these local volunteers help make Atlanta known as the premier host for big-time sporting events.
